Both venues were pretty good last year. The cross race at Desert Breeze is a little bit of a trek from the strip, but well worth it. The race is in a soccer complex, so I ended up wandering around much of the night watching the race from different spots.

The crit race at Mandalay is the same way, it's all setup in the parking lot for the Mandalay convention center.
