If you are taking the job to get some extra cash while you go to school, great. I doubt you could find a more fun and interesting job. Even if you are single and not sure what you want to do with your life, it still can be a good place to be. But if you are taking it to support a wife and kids, I'm sure there are better options.
I personally would love to wrench in a shop but I can't afford it.
