It's definitely inspiring to see someone riding steel. I work in an office full of guys who are all about carbon fiber. They know nothing about steel bikes and are very sarcastic when I bring my bikes in. I say they don't know what they're missing out on
Thanks! I wanted to try CX and the 660 allowed me to fit 30mm knobbies (just barely). It's still light and fast.
That crankset will work with that BB, but that BB won't work with your frame. Treks take English bottom brackets and the BB you linked is Italian. See the late, great Sheldon Brown's
page on bottom brackets.
