Almost hit twice last night going home., guy turns right from the left lane right in front of me and then half mile later woman, coming the other direction, turns left in front of me even as I have the green.

I have tried different routes and this kind of thing is becoming a daily experience anywhere I ride around here.
We have no MUPs here in WNY (we are such a backward out-of-date area). Short of riding on the freaking sidewalks, I just don't know what to do anymore.

I'm the father of 6 kids, I can't get killed by some ahole because he/she can't get to a red light fast enough.
I'm seriously thinking of going back to my evening and week-end rides and screw the commute. I just find it so satisfying physically, mentally and saving gas isn't bad either, but this daily putting my life at risk is getting out of hand.

Do you folks deal with the same thing? Any other ideas?
