a problem I cannot resolve nor the LBS I go to, so we seemed perplexed.

I run a 53/42 on my road bike 10 spd D/A 11-25 cassette,the cassette is a sram.
I recently changed the small ring to a 39
The issue revolves around droping the chain on to the 39 ring,from the gears 14,13,12,11 it will not slip onto the chainring,it rides on top with out engaging it just will not drop all the way.
Chainrings are not excessively worn,bought new this spring and everything seems to be in alignment

I and the bike shop adjusted the limit screws as well as turning the chainring for bolt and teeth alignment,but nothing seems to work. the front derr. is a D/A as well.

any help would be appreciated
