I returned my Ultegra pedals that were making a clicking sound under climbing, and now they are making up some excuses to send them back to me, that my cleats were loose (they weren't, and how do they make that determination?) I tried same cleats with new pedals before swapping, and no clicking.
It's good that I tried their returns process on something cheap, before buying expensive components from them.
I guess with prices like theirs its hard to expect great customer service. But if they just told me that upfront, instead of wasting my time and money shipping it back and forth, I would have sent them directly to Shimano.
I am not familiar with the bike warranties, but is there a particular reason why a store would want to make a manufacturer's quality control problem their customer satisfaction problem?
