It's funny because I take the north-south Coaster train all the time and they allow as many bikes as will fit without blocking the exits.
I have taken the sprinter on some occasions with my bike. Once there were like 6-7 of us and then they capped it. wouldn't let any more bikes on. Although it was standing room only. But From what i have seen and heard it is now 4 bikes max. They could easily fit 6. Also they have nice bike lockers at the stations so if you want to head out but don't need your bike they are pretty safe if you bring a pad lock to lock it up inside.
