It is reasonable to argue that the number of folks with sufficient income to buy a high end bike is decreasing. In addition, high end homes -- including those in the $10+ million range -- are down significantly; luxury car sales are down significantly; same store (as well as Internet and catalog) sales for Tiffany in the US are down. I do not see much out there economically to suggest that high end bikes are going to be immune from troubling conditions.
