I'm thinking of using a Cervélo Soloist Team frameset(boo, too common, whatever, it's supposed to be an amazing frame). I assume that somewhere in the range of $800-1100 would be a reasonable price for either the Soloist or the S1.
The next part is where I'm facing some problems. I've been trying to figure out what groupset combination to use.
I'm currently using Shimano and am not too fond of it, as for my small hands it is difficult to use. .
404,
Nice job on keeping all those balls in the air (jobs, school, scolarships etc.) You are not a poor college student. I have been one. You are not. You may find that this time in your life could be one of the most "rich" measured by experiences, time for yourself, disposeable income.
I would not buy your components off ebay. God only knows where that stuff comes from.
If it were me, I would buy them in a group, or gruppo if its Campagnolo, from someplace like Lickbike or Probikekit. Alt least you'll know you are starting with good parts and wont have to fuss around with trying to figure out why it wont work...and you'll have a warranty.
