On my first 50+ mile ride I was bonking big time and just wanted to get home in the worst way. At the intersection before my subdivison I turned left, directly in front of several cars coming the other direction. It wasn't until I made it thru that I realized how careless I was. That was a wakeup moment and lesson learned.
