I feel for you. That motorist deserves much more than you can give. I got hit once, but this person was nice enough to drive me to the hospital after I said I did not need it. Living where I do (West La) I have dodged many Mercedes. And I have learned that it does not matter who, what or where you are, they "own" the road. Word to the wise, never get out of the way of someone who hit you and stopped afterwards. Get info if you can, I got $350 out of my accident (really, just enough to fix my bike) Similar situation happened to my cousin, he was crossing a street and someone turned left and clipped his rear tire. Luckily he was fine and so was his bike, but the driver took off. My cousin took off on his bike in pursuit and caught the driver at a red light, where he proceeded to kick in the passenger side door. The driver then took off with much damage to his car. The driver got away with what he deserved, but I was very surprised my cousin did not end up in jail. Anyway right or wrong I always look out for cars and give them the right of way, (matter of survival in West LA)
