After taking it for a spin (quick half hour ride) I can see the appeal. Yeah they're not totally comfortable in really soft shoes but they spin incredibly incredibly smooth and I can totally feel it when riding. I think with decent shoes they shouldn't be a problem, although my days of riding my bike in Chuck's are over most likely.

Lithium, and real heavy weight stuff just adds drag. Good grease = Love.
