Once you set the initial cable tension as BarryJo describes (after setting rotation [<- critical!], limits, and height), it will be very close. Use the barrel adjuster to tweak it.

When I set mine up as per Park Tool instructions, I find that I have to back out the upper limit screw about 1/3 turn to make the big ring easier to catch. But then I set the cable tension so that the middle ring has full range without having to hit trim.
