The last few years, the Tour De Cure Century was from Chesapeake VA to Manteo NC on NC Outer Banks. Beautiful night (or 2) at the beach after the ride not to mention a worthy cause. The event was well supported. It is dead flat except for 2 or 3 bridges.

Chesapeake VA is 5 to 5 1/2 hours from York.

If you want a little more hill torture close to home, the Lancaster Bicycle Club has the Covered Bridge Metric Century. I rode it last year as my 2nd ever metric. The hills probably weren't bad by most people's standards. It was another well supported, fun event. Sorry no link.
