Saw lots of road kill on the way home yesterday. three snakes and 2 not yet road kill - I'm thinking the temperature dropping is making them seek the warmth of the blacktop. a 1-week-old and very smelly fox - I'll be glad when that corpse is gone, 1 chipmonk, 1 green feathered sparrow sized bird, and one largish gray furred something or other - coyote maybe?

Met a bike commuter heading my way on the MUP this morning. We both were surprised and chatted briefly. But I was in 300 watt mode so I moved on.
