I find my 10W NiteRider to be just good enough as well. It's bright enough for me to see in front of me or be seen but I wish it was a bit brighter on a couple of downhill pitch-black sections on my commute so I could see any obstacles in the road with enough time to avoid them as opposed to when it's too late.
