It's a bit selfish really, I've just finished my last two builds and at present don't have the time or opportunity to seek any new classics or to work on my bikes, so reading about yours is the closest thing to doing it! Also, in my opinion you scored the catch of a lifetime at the price you paid for that little beauty, so we all get to share a bit in that 'winning' feeling you must have.

Please don't hesitate to post photos of how it's going, or to ask if any of the members can help with advice, opinions or good-natured banter. I've been working on nice bikes for years as a hobby but every time I log on here I learn something new, or consider a viewpoint I hadn't thought of before.
