My shoe size is a 44. With the cleat all the way forward, the spindle is about 1/2 an inch behind the knuckle of my big toe..

as you can imagine, the more I slide the cleat backwards, the further forward the knuckle moves from the spindle.


I seem to experience a bit more flexing in my ankle with the cleat in the max forward position vs roughly in the middle where i've had it for the last few months. I still seem to make good power but I'm not sure if it is optimal. The difference is only about 5 mm.
