In fact, perhaps the best way to feel younger is to fraternize with older people. 
Now that I've relocated to rural central Illinois, I don't get a chance to ride with younger riders too often. But when I did, I was able to drop a fair amount of them (even one is a fair amount
). That always made me feel younger!
But you're right, there were a fair number that I couldn't keep up with either, ahh youth....
