Speaking of the South, an alternate I'm towing with is riding BRAG. My friend Phil has been trying to get me to ride it for a couple of years. In fact, he first brought the subject up back when I first learned to balance. Now that's a hard sell.

That's good. I had missed that earlier. Another thought in the South is the Natchez Trace. It runs from just south of Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS. It is a little over 440 miles of two lane scenic road with historical sites along the way. I have a friend who is doing it in a few weeks. http://www.nps.gov/natr/bicyclinghome.htm
