Yes, SRAM Red is a one-piece cassette machined out of a solid piece of stainless steel. It achieves its light weight (~156g iirc) by virtue of being a hollowed-out cone, plus having fewer parts (no spacers or separate cogs). Because it's steel it doesn't suffer from the quick wearing that equally weight-weenyish Aluminum or Titanium cogs can.
