ok now i need help picking out spokes, and it would be cool if somebody would take a look at my rim selection and let me know that they think it will work...

for the rim, i have decided on: an alex, because it's affordable, and double walled, black, and it was one of the first ones that i found. (it will still be better then what used to be on there)

can i get any gauge of spokes and assume that they will fit through the holes in the hub?

i was looking up how to find spoke lengths and found that there's a lot to it... so will it be safe to just take an old spoke off and measure it from the bend to the very end? i like these spokes, cause they're black, and they come in a 50 pack.:http://www.bikeparts.com/search_resu...p?ID=BPC110877
