The c'dale frames come with chro-moly forks, so the front ends on both the 520 and the c'dales should transmit similar levels of shock.
These forks are
solid . They don't flex much at all. They're nothing like the finely tapered steel forks on my Gitane. They're more like the forks on an old rigid MTB.
