Paramount Track bike... a new addition to my stable

First, I need to thank Stan aka 'Scooper' for helping me out with this. Without his wisdom I would have been lost.

A month or so ago I replied to CL ad for a Schwinn Peleton which I purchased. The owner is a life long cyclist and enthusist who at one time owned 16 bikes betweem himself and his wife. I asked if they wanted to sell their Paramount track bike and they said it was something they hadnt considered.

Earlier in the week I e-mailed them and they said yes, make an offer and I did. Make an offer? WTF do I know about Paramount track bikes? They proceeded to look up the only Paramount track bike on ebay, needeless to say it was considerably more than my offer and more than my meager budget allows for. I PM'd Stan to get a 'market update'.

Based on what Stan had to say I counter offered and they accepted. I picked it up today....

I dont know what stock specs are but it appears to fairly original. Everythings Campy, including the cog, with Weinmann rims and a Cinelli bar/stem combo. One of the wheels has had the spkes replaced as one has Unions (cloverleaf) and the ohter had Robergels? (E).

On occasion I read posts inquiring about the differences between Campy 'Strada' and Pista' cranks. The differences are clearly visible in the pics.
