I have return. Saw our Mayor D, and she was wearing pink, riding the long route. I had the privilege of directing her into N. Point park. I didn't see Barry, he was to ride w/ her. I think she dropped him near Merrit Blvd

I also saw GB very early, 630AM!! Sorry I did not visit w/ you. I looked for you at the pzza line. I ate at least 1/2 pizza.

For those that rode, I was the route marshall at the R turn into North Point park. That was a tough turn, tight, onto dirt. It was really hard slowing down many of the cyclist. I was NOT the guy blowing the whistle. It really got sketchy when 20 people were coming out of the park and 20 going in, over that little strip of dirt(plus cars). Next year I'll bring bolt cutters. It was a great day, lots of riders, perfect weather, lots of pizza.
My day started at 6Am, rode to the Korean war memorial from home, got the assignment to ride to N. point park(15 miles away). Since I had to be there before 8, I couldn't eat bagels or drink anything, almost forgot my marshalling t shirt. A foggy-ish start which made for a eerie ride to the park. East side gets a lot more fog. The organizers did a great job pulling it off. All in all it was a wonderful day. Charlie
