End of ride "pick me up?"
hey guys, on my 38 mile training ride, I generally eat a clif bar about halfway through, and drink water periodically throughout the ride. However, on the last couple of miles I start to feel really low on energy. I've never had a gel, but it seems like something like a gel or maybe some sport beans to give me a burst of energy for the last 20 minutes or so. I drink straight water though, and was wondering if maybe some heed or cytomax would help me out in the last couple of miles also. Just looking for some recommendations to give me a burst of energy for the last few miles.
