I have found that the PowerBar Recovery bar works very well after a ride. I always wake up the next day and I don't usually have that "rubber leg" routine when I eat one, and they taste good too. And I have found that peanut butter and honey sandwiches work well, as do peanut butter and nutella (so much for the diet) I did forget that I ran out on Sunday though....
