Is it worth paying twice as much? Maybe for 1 or 2 parts, but for more it can add up to hundreds of $$$. My "LBS" refused to answer my questions to prevent me from shopping elsewhere, which was sufficient motivation for me to buy the parts myself, and a toolkit and books and learn to do it myself, even if it takes 3 months. Now I have shiny new bike tools.
Do not give the customer attitude.
