How to polish black spots from alloy?
I have a bike that has some black spots on the stem from (I guess) dirt and age. When I got the bike it took me 2 day to clean it up beforeI could even work on it, it was that dirty.

Some of the black spots will not come off of the stem. How do I reemdy?
