yes, just don't go switching the 2 FW threads (BR and IT) back and forth, once you put a BR FW on it, make that the only threading you use in future. (probably the only kind you'll ever find, anyway)

yes, but you might have to remove 3mm from both ends, depending on how the axle's threaded.
