Tora's are cheap and pretty nice. I think it's the unsung hero of the blue collar MTB world. If you can find a '05--'06 Fox Vanilla for sale, they are internally convertible to 4" and mine was pretty nice. If you got coin...go for the PIKE though.
The only problem being that there is no way I can afford any of those (even the tora) because I've just decided to get the frame (
