I would say that there is defnitely a mountain of data about quality of life and regular exercise.
With out a doubt bicycling has a world of overall quality of life benefits; except perhaps for those obsessive types who structure their entire life around their exercise regimen/hobby to the detriment of all other considerations.
Nonetheless the improved quality of life from bicycling doesn't necessarily convert into better insurance risk because some bicyclists feel good about themselves and their bicycling.
