I took a run up the humber recreational trail to try and find some darkness and it was up to the task. I never once felt that I was riding ahead of the light. Apparently it's bright enough to make everyone at the beach stop and look as you pass.

Full brightness at around 10kms/hr and 2min stand lights once you've been riding for 10mins or so. I couldn't notice any difference resistance wise (while riding at least. you can notice if you just spin the wheel) Not the lightest thing, but I'm not much of a weight weenie. Best thing is that now I can ride wherever I want to, for as long as I want to and never have to worry about being without lights.

I'd like to have gotten the Schmidt hub instead of the SRAM, but unfortunately I did not have an unlimited budget and I didn't want to skimp on the lights or wheels. Seems to work out pretty well anyhow.
