No. I don't know about SRAM but Campy Ergo brifters require a smaller derailleur cable end fitting than Shimano STI's and using a Shimano-type cable in Campy Ergos can jam the end in very tightly. Use the correct cable.

Jagwire makes double ended derailleur cables that have a Shimano fitting on one end and a Campy fitting on the other and you cut off the one you don't need. Bike Tools Etc. sells them.

As to the end that fastens to the derailleur clamp bolt, yes they are the same (i.e. plain wire) for every make.
