Fargo Street in the Silver Lake district near Los Angeles goes up for two blocks at 33%. The Los Angeles Wheelmen have an event there every year.
I climbed it in '78 with a 30t x 32t on my 2nd attempt. On the first attempt I pulled the back tire over to chainstay because my QR wasn't tight enough. I was standing most of the way up.
