I never had a Harley rider, with open pipes, rev his motor while going by me, but I did have one do a very hard acceleration just as he went by me. As of late, I've been noticing a lot less Harleys with open pipes, and I'm hearing by word of mouth that our local LEOs are stepping up on noise enforcement, especially the targeting of motorcycles with excessively loud exhausts.
