Yes, they are, and I can reach the front brake from the drop (freakishly long fingers).
jokercykoe-Yes, you can easily do this with some patience. Two problems you'll encounter:
1) Evercoat Metal to Metal is kinda expensive, about $35 a quart (of which you'll need about 4 ounces).
2) Sanding it all to a smooth feel is a *****.
But you can do it.
