My new bike came with Aliante but it really hurt after only a few km (despite trying several adjustments) so I swapped in my Ponza from my old bike. Then I saw an Arione on sale that would look way cool on my new bike so I bought it yet after the first 40k I was in so much pain - particularly the perineum - that I was ready to switch back to the Ponza.

Still it looked so great on the bike so I decided to give it a chance and launched a series of tweaks and test rides. Ultimately, I wound up dropping the seat post about 3 mm and angled the saddle down so it slants 4.5 degrees ( it actually works out to be sloped down 2 degrees at the nose, 4.5 right above the seat post and almost 7 at the rear ) and that did the trick - feels fine now.
