The same thing happened to me (shift lever snapped under load) but thus far I've been unable to locate a replacement LH shift lever. I have a mechanic who will do the repair for me (I am mechanically challenged) but need to know where I can procure the part. Where did you purchase the plastic lever?

Must I replace the '03 Record lever with '03 Record or can I use a newer version? Will Chorus/Veloce parts work for Record? Thanks for any advice you can pass along.
