Search results were kind of vague and too general for me to understand. After an over 35 mile moderately strong ride for me I have a tenderness beneath my lower knee caps and seems even on both knees. I also run 6 to 9 miles several times per week which does not have an effect on the tenderness from the biking.
I also currently use clip rat trap (Campy Super Record) pedals from the early 80's and plan to change to clipless in the next few months.
Is an adjustment of riding position a possibility or is it a riding tecnique that I need to change.
