I'm in the process of building up a 1985 Miyata 610 with the 1985 Miyata 1000 components and have run into two slight mysteries. The first is that the brakes and levers listed in the 1985 catalog are under the umbrella of Deore XT, but it is my understanding (maybe false) that the Deore series did not have road brake levers. Does the Miyata 1000 actually use Shimano 600ex brake levers? If so, do you know whether it is BL-6200 or BL-6207 which is being used? If not, what is actually being used?

Second, the BB is listed as "sealed" under the umbrella of the Shimano 600ex cranks. But I thought the Shimano 600 (6200 series) BB was cup and cone. Anyone know the deal?
