I started Friel's weight lifting plan today, it does things in phases and the first is mainly 2x20-30 circuit training. It's my first time in the gym in a long time so I did 1x20's just to ease into things. I've never really lifted with a structured purpose like this, so it feels mentally reassuring.
Has anyone else followed his plan and had good results?
Is this plan in the Cyclist's Training Bible? I'm going to do weight training this winter and I'd like a good reference.
