Just an update...The seller is buying back the frame for my asking price of $1K. The bike itself arrived in immaculate condition. Nicely painted, not powedercoated, and with NOS parts galore. Whoever bought his other Masi, the yellow one, I'm sure got a similarly nice bike.
Really not sure the purpose of shipping this whole bike back and forth? Seems would have been a lot easier if the seller had just taken off all the parts and sent them along for the $700 or so, saved some shipping and potential frame wear and tear (or even damage) by doing so. The less bike frames are exposed to UPS/FedEx handling, the better, IMHO.
