you mind if I ask what kind of program you're applying to? mine was physics, although we were told they cared more about verbal than math (they assume you can do the math if you're applying at all)
I'm trying to decide between Political Science, History and Middle Eastern studies.
Political Science PhD programs tend to be much more quantitative, something I'm not interested in, and something you don't tend to do at an undergraduate level, so I do need to go back and study math because except for Stats 101 I haven't done math since calculus in high school. History and Middle East obviously math matters less, but I'm studying my butt off so as not to limit my options. That's an interesting point though about physics. It's interesting, some PoliSci PhD programs, the super quantitative ones anyways, have tried recruiting math people, much like Econ has. I think there's a backlash brewing against that kind of PoilSci though.
