I'm no expert, but I'll throw my 2 cents in.
If you are going store the tires without stretching them on rims and you plan to store them flat as 11.2 suggest, I'd inflate them enough to get the wrinkles out from the folding. I'd probably leave them inflated for several days.
Personally, I just hang them in the garage. I'm sure that's not good for the tires, but I buy relatively inexpensive tires.
