A 98 mph fastball would definitely be above Cat 1. If cyclists are pitchers, Lance throws about 100. Most domestic pros throw high 80s. High level pros throw mid 90s. Cat 1 maybe throws 85.
I used to throw low 80s when I was younger, so yes, I could throw 85 with some work.
