I decided to do the Austin Distance Challenge, which is a series of 6 races that finish with a marathon on February 15th, 2009. First one was today and I'm hurting - I even made my team ride after but I was fairly worthless.
I haven't checked yet but typically the first cycling races are right around then here - maybe a week or so out. I'm wondering how difficult its going to be training for both? I set a goal for myself a long time ago to do a marathon.
Do it while it is fresh in your mind...don't look back...now is the time to do it...
