Bikes: Too many

I remember when the pros didn't wear helmets at all.

$2,000 was an unheard of price for a bike.

Most of the people I talked to had never heard of the Tour de France.

Bottecchia and Motobecane weren't brand names purchased by a corporate marketing company.

Jerseys were wool.

Folding clinchers were the newest idea.

Wolber and Clement went together on racing wheels. (Criterium Seta Extra's anyone?)

Time Trials were done on regular old bikes.

Freewheels still existed (like the Regina Oro).

Dura-Ace AX looked hideous because it was "aero" and it would never catch on.
