Yeah, the narrow nose on the 'Team Pros' were made for aggressive riding positions, where the bars are lower than seat height. In that position, your pelvis is rotated more than on a B-17 and the narrow nose helps eliminate any thigh contact.
I have the 'Team Pro' on my classic bike and its the best saddle I ever owned.
