but i didn't buy it in usd, so the conversion doesn't mean much. it would've been imported months and months ago at a different exchange rate on the wholesale price, in bulk.

a like for like comparison is more useful -- the price i got it for (799) is about a little over halfway between the price my local area stores have this years TRL2 (684) and TRL3 (864). comparatively, on danscomp these are 430 and 550, so equivalent US price would've been roughly 480, 490 or so. and i didn't have to pay shipping, cause i rode it home
